Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My gum is bleeding whenever I bite an apple or other little hard food items. Any medicine for me?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

There can be several reasons for gum bleeding like calculus due to poor oral hygiene, blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, traumatic ulcer, excessive spitting. These causes often lead to gingival inflammation which causes blood to ooze out on mild stimulation by brushing (hard brush), gargling or taking hot liquids like coffee, tea, etc.

Your chief complaint is incomplete without attachment photo of your oral cavity and any medical history. You can forward that in future but I am sure your problems will solve by following this treatment protocol of medications. Tablet Ordent (Ofloxacin Ornidazole) BD for five days. Mouthwash Hexidine BD after cleansing mouth for 15 days. It will reduce inflammation and relieve your problem. These are symptomatic measures but for further evaluation, you are requested to send attachments with full history details.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
