Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 24 years old weighing 123.4 lbs and height 5 feet 7 inches. I have had gastric problems and a feeling of fullness in my stomach. I also have a headache and pain under the knee joint. What could be the reason for these symptoms?

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

The stomach fullness is commonly due to gastric indigestion, acid reflux, or gastritis. You have a headache issue also. So gastric indigestion or constipation can be possible. I suggest you take Rabeprazole 20 mg (proton pump inhibitor) once daily for a week. Additionally, for proper digestion, you can use an antacid syrup as well. If needed, fiber supplements also can be used for constipation. Consult a specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their support. You can practice the following measures.

1. Avoid intake of high-fatty foods.

2. You can take more green leafy vegetables and fruits.

3. Gas-forming foods like cabbage, cauliflower, onion, turnip, etc., should be restricted.

4. Drink lots of water as it helps with gastric indigestion.

5. Avoid intake of carbonated drinks.

If you do not improve in a week, ultrasonography can be done for further workup.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
