Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have breathing problem for nine years and sometimes it becomes severe. After taking medicines, it goes away. Now I have a breathing problem. Yesterday, it became severe at night and I had vomiting with blood. This is the first time for me to have vomiting with blood. While taking my food at night, I felt something stuck in my throat. After that, my breathing became worst and there is vomiting with blood. Is it have any relation with COVID-19? I am feeling better with slight throat pain. I do not have fever, headache, and body pain.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
With your history, it does not have any relation with COVID-19 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2). You have a lower respiratory tract infection. I suggest you take antibiotics and other supportive medicines. You can take tablet Augmentin 625 mg (Amoxicillin with Clavulanic acid) twice daily, tablet Doxolin 400 mg (Doxofylline) half a tablet twice daily, tablet Pantocid (Pantoprazole) once daily before breakfast, tablet Emeset 4 mg (Ondansetron) thrice daily before food, and tablet Montek LC (Montelukast with Levocetirizine) once daily at night for five days. Kindly take these medicines for your breathing difficulty. It will get settled soon. Regarding the attached reports, (attachment removed to protect patient identity) you have high cholesterol levels and elevated uric acid levels. You need to take treatment for it.
