Hi doctor,

I had viral tonsilitis a month ago. I never really noticed this ball under my left tonsil, and it looks as if there is a stone there. I am terrified if it is cancer. Please let me know if this is cancer or looks like cancer. I do not have insurance or money to get it looked at, but I have an x-ray and a picture of the area of concern. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I recommend surgical removal for tonsils then a histological examination for the removed tissues. The tonsil does not look dangerous, but it is not normal also. The cancer signs such as ulceration and discoloration are not present yet.
