Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My skin, mainly my forehead, has an uneven texture, and it is not acne because I have tried many products. These are tiny bumps, and I cannot find anything to smooth them out topically or orally. I have pale skin and a lot of redness, so it is hard to find makeup to cover the redness and not make the bumps look bad. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Pimples are hormonal and can appear due to oily skin. Do not use hair oil and any sticky cream on the face. Avoid oily food, chocolate, and milk products. Avoid dust and use sunscreen (above 30 SPF). Avoid rubbing any cream on the face. Do not use steroid creams. Continue treatment at least for a month. Facewash or soaps are not a part of the treatment and are not much useful. Do not touch acne and avoid pressing it. For treatment, use Clindamycin gel. This is more preventive than curative when applied all over the face in the morning. Use Adapalene gel (Adalene and Defferine) use over acne at night. Consume tablet Doxycycline 100 mg once a day. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them and take medicines with their consent. Thank you.
