Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 29 years old, and I have burning sensation underneath my feet since last year, after treating an STD. It was occurring mostly at nights, but these days it appears to be there from morning till night. Then I had a series of a sore throat last year, for which I was treated with antibiotics. Some months ago, I started having this pain in my left chest, which sometimes crosses over to the center. The pain has subsided, but I still feel slight pain just after and below my left chest and an occasional sharp one on my right breast. Underneath my feet is still burning, my palm feels warm, and my penis has this slight warm sensation. Are they all connected? What can I do?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have given a history of STD treated, What type of STD it is? If it is syphilis, is it cured completely? If it is not healed completely may lead to a complication called tabes dorsalis. When syphilis is untreated, the bacteria damage the spinal cord and peripheral nervous tissue. This leads to the symptoms of tabes dorsalis (neurosyphilis). Tabes dorsalis is now very rare because syphilis is usually treated early in the disease.

Do CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome), CT brain, and spine. Repeat VDRL (venereal disease research laboratory test), FBS (fasting blood sugar), and PPBS (post-prandial blood sugar).

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
