Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 34-year-old and have been experiencing chest pressure on the upper left side of my chest with some pressure in my jaw and arm area. I consulted a cardiologist who did several tests, such as a 2D echocardiogram, ECG, Holter monitor, and an ETT test. All exams came back normal, but I still have this chest pressure. What should be the next steps? Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. There are usually many causes of chest pain, including peptic ulcer disease, costochondritis, respiratory tract infections, etc. Amongst the investigating done, did you do a lipid profile test? It is not included. Have you had any trauma to the chest before now? Did you have any cough? Do you smoke or have a family history of heart disease? Is the pain worsened by exercise or physical activity? The next step will be dependent on your answers to the following questions. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
