Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 21-years-old female. The tip of my clitoris has a white deposit, and it is not painful. I am currently using Depo-Provera. I am really worried.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I fully understand your concern, and I will surely help you. I have seen the image shared by you (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity), and let me assure you that your genitals are fine. If there is no itching and discharge, then there is nothing to worry about. However, if this change is noticed after some recent change of soap, underwear, toilet paper, and some medications, then please let me know. Kindly let me know if you are sexually active and periodicity of the same? From when are you taking Depo-Provera (Medroxyprogesterone acetate)?

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for the reply.

I do not have itching or discharge. I just wanted to know if it is of any concern. The size is normal, but the tip being white was my only concern. Yes, I have been sexually active for the past eight months, but I am only using birth control medicine for one month. I did have chlamydia recently that was treated and will be getting re-tested in a week to make sure that the infection has been completely cured.

Thanks.

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I have gone through the details shared by you. I agree with you that the color of the clitoris is not a usual appearance, but nothing to worry about. I request you to observe the color when you are aroused.

Regards.
