Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 36 years old male. My weight is approximately 176.37 Ibs. My nose has been blocked and I am feeling tired. My throat is becoming sore. My chest is restless. What to do?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It seems that you are suffering from viral infection that could be the cause of your symptoms.

I would suggest you to take

  1. Otrivin nasal spray (Xylometazoline) two times a day in each nostril.
  2. Tablet Azithromycin 500 mg (Azithral or Azipro or Azee) once daily for three days.
  3. Tablet Combiflam (combination of Paracetamol and Ibuprofen) twice daily for three days.

I would also suggest you to take salt water gargling three to four times a day. Also try to have steam inhalation three to four times a day and drink plenty of fluids.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

What should I ask in the pharmacy? You have mentioned Tablet Azithromycin 500 mg (Azithral or Azipro or Azee). What does it mean?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Actually those are brand names of Azithromycin. Just ask Azithromycin 500 mg, which is an antibiotic.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
