Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I touched my penis, but my finger was dry. Later I was fingering my girlfriend with the same finger. I am worried about her pregnancy as her periods are delayed. Should I worry?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. As per your description, these symptoms could be due to hormonal imbalance, but they could be due to pregnancy also. But as you missed your period, it could be due to hormonal changes or due to pregnancy (if precum contains sperm). You should go for a home urine pregnancy test after seven days of your missed period date or blood beta hCG testing to rule out pregnancy. If pregnancy is not there, it could be due to hormonal imbalance, and you can wait and watch for your menses or take progesterone for withdrawal bleeding. I suggest you get your thyroid profile and hemoglobin test done for hormonal changes.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
