Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am not getting my periods and am not pregnant. How can I get periods immediately?

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

May I know what was your last menstrual date? Sometimes periods might get delayed by one or two weeks because of some stress or recent illness. So you should wait for two weeks even if your periods do not come. Taking hormonal tablets just because your periods got delayed by four to five days is not good for your health. Normally also periods might fluctuate by one week and there is nothing wrong with this. So have patience. If your periods fluctuate for more than a week in subsequent cycles then let me know if we should rule out PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) or any thyroid disorders.

I hope this information helps you.

You can reconnect for further queries.

Thank you.
