Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 21-year-old female having frequent gastric issues. I have a moving pain due to gas in my abdomen and breast. Recently, I experienced bloating in my stomach, and I occasionally get a little shortness of breath. However, I have discovered that while I feel normal, I experience health stress when I am busy or distracted. I think about my breathing patterns and end up getting short breaths. I feel the shortness of breath is psychological as I overthink. Moreover, I can climb stairs, sleep properly, and walk. I suffer from only a short breath and gas. I am concerned if the issue is heart-related. Moreover, my pulse is 90 bpm at rest. In the past, during weather changes, I had slight shortness of breath. I am currently taking Biotin Plus. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.

It is due to disturbed acid secretion of the stomach called dyspepsia. But go for an ECG (electrocardiogram) to rule out any cardiac cause.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Treatment plan

1. Capsule Esomeprazole 40 mg once before breakfast for one month. 2. Tablet Ganaton (Itopride) 50 mg once in the morning and night half an hour before a meal for one month. 3. Syrup Gaviscon (Aluminium Hydroxide and Magnesium trisilicate) 120 ml two tablespoons in the morning, afternoon, and night a half hour after a meal for two months. 4. Consult a specialist doctor, talk to them, and then take the medication.

Preventive measures

1. Avoid spicy and oily, fatty, and fast food. 2. Walk daily for 20 to 30 minutes. 3. There should be a gap of at least two to three hours between sleep and meal.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
