Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have ear itching and dizziness after using buds for more than one year, which is now aggravating with extreme dizziness and nausea. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern. First, you should never use earbuds or anything else inside the ear. It leads to injury in the external auditory canal or even rupture of the tympanic membrane and disturbance in the natural ear-cleaning mechanism of epithelial migration leading to wax impaction. Your dizziness and nausea can be due to multiple causes, like inner ear dysfunction. Most cases of vertigo can be diagnosed on a carefully elicited detailed history. Your reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity) show a deranged lipid profile, vitamin D deficiency, and high ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate). Needs proper management to address all these issues. Thanks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
