Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had unprotected anal sex three days after the completion of my period but there was not any vaginal sex and my partner accidentally ejaculated near the vagina. So I took an Unwanted 72 pill after three hours. I had symptoms after taking the pill like headache, cramps, and white discharge (thin). After eight days, I had bleeding (a bit brownish) that lasted for four days. Yesterday, I had heavy bleeding but it was a bit painless. Is there any concern regarding pregnancy?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

I appreciate that you took the emergency pill on time if you had a sense of doubt. It has a good success rate. Also, the brown bleeding which you had after eight days might be normal. Sometimes mid-cycle blood spotting is there which is normal, and now you had bleeding which might have been heavy because of the pill. I do not think it is due to pregnancy but still, if you wish, I suggest you do a urine pregnancy test.

Thank you for consulting me.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
