Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had sex last month, and my boyfriend did not use a condom. But he did not ejaculate inside the vagina. Still, I took an ECP. And, I am not having my periods. Is it something to worry about?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thanks for trusting us about your health care. I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.

Menstrual irregularities in your case, could be due to hormonal imbalance caused by an I pill (Emergency contraceptive pill). As you took I pill on time, there is almost no chance of pregnancy in your case. So wait and watch for your menses, and get your home urine pregnancy test after seven days of your missed period date.

I hope you found this helpful. Feel free to ask more information. Good luck. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
