Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 18 years old, and I used to masturbate a lot. I am facing erection issues in which my erection lasts for a short duration, shortening of the penis, and premature ejaculation. How can I get rid of this problem?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) usually occurs after 40 years of age. There are two main types of ED. One is psychogenic, in which there is psychological disturbance and a sedentary lifestyle. The second is organic, in which there is some underlying disease. Premature ejaculation can be treated by some behavioral modifications as well as medicines. I suggest you go for the following test:

CBC (complete blood count).

Serum TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone).

Serum Testosterone.

Fasting lipid Profile.

HbA1c (Glycated hemoglobin).

You can consult a specialist and take the following medications with their consent.

1. Multivitamin tablet, one tablet in the morning after breakfast for one month.

2. L-Arginine sachet, one sachet in the afternoon after meal for one month.

Also, avoid junk food, alcohol, and fatty food. Eat fruits and vegetables. Exercise daily for 30 minutes.

Consult any psychiatrist for behavioral therapy and counseling regarding premature ejaculation.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
