Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a non-severe brown skin fungus on my neck which appeared last summer. It was darker initially and later faded, but I want to remove it. So, I have been using Lulican cream. I was told only to use it at night. I also clean it with an antifungal soap, exfoliate it, and use salicylic acid lotion. Is this the correct treatment? Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It is an urticarial rash due to excess heat exposure. Avoid known triggers. Maintain a diary and record what things you are allergic to and whatnot. I suggest using the following. Take Tablet Teczine-M (Levocetirizine and Montelukast) once at night after food for seven days. Apply Caladryl lotion (Calamine, Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride, and Ethanol) immediately after bath for ten days. Do you have a stomach ache, fever, or toothache? Any drug allergies or drug history? Please answer the questions for details. Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply. What does any of that have to do with fungus?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Wash the area with Ketoconazole soap (antifungal) for one month. See if it improves, it could be an urticarial rash associated with superficial fungal infection. But try to take the above-mentioned treatment first. I hope it will help. Keep a check on your hormonal profile. Avoid stress. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
