Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My daughter is six years old. All of a sudden, there is too much hair fall. There are no lice or eggs. Her hair is clean. But for the past ten days, she has had a severe cold with a cough and running nose. What could be the cause? Suggest some remedies to overcome this hair fall problem.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This kind of hair fall occurs post-illness, even with an episode of viral fever. Your daughter is just six years old. I advise to avoid medications for her hair problem at this age. You can consider a syrup containing multivitamins and zinc, but please do not give anything else. Her hair fall will recover on its own within a month.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
