Hi doctor,

I have been feeling horrible for at least four days with a terrible headache and a stiff, sore neck; my body feels awful, and I get very tired quickly, and my face twitches. I might have meningitis or possibly might have been bitten by a tick. I remember seeing what looks like ringworm, which is still itchy. I feel like I am dying and more. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I need further details.

Do you have any other associated symptoms?

I suggest,

  • It is best to check BP (blood pressure).
  • Keep well hydrated.
  • Make sure you are taking adequate sleep.
  • Avoid stress-strain exertion by lifting heavy weights and rigorous exercise.
  • Get physically examined by a doctor.

Please answer the following qestions.

Are you an alcoholic?

Are you a smoker?

Are you taking any medicine for four days?

Any nausea feeling?

Any pain in the abdomen?

Any fever, cold or cough?

If you doubt meningitis, it is helpful to get CT (computed tomography) head.

As far as the tick is concerned, ensure to keep the surroundings clean and hygienic.

I hope you find it helpful.

Kind regards.

Hi doctor,

I feel nauseous, and my blood pressure has been pretty normal but has been a little high; I do not drink, and I do smoke but have not really since these symptoms; I am having difficulty drinking (like I am not drinking for some reason), no cough, and fever, I have slept a crazy amount several days in a row with symptoms getting worse, not better, my whole body hurts, and it is very challenging getting out of bed, my kidneys feel painful. I feel like I am full of gas.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Did you undergo any blood tests?

Do you have a burning sensation during urine output?

You may go to ER (emergency room) and get physically examined. I suggest,

  • Please drink plenty of fluids.
  • Avoid alcohol and smoking.
  • Check vitals, including pulse, BP (blood pressure) and temperature.

Is the pain localized or referred to the legs and back?

How much water are you drinking in 24 hours?

I also suggest an antacid like Omeprazole with a Domperidone combination of 40 mg empty stomach in the morning.

Regards.
