Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I was exposed fifty-eight days ago and checked my HIV DNA detector thirteen days later, yet no HIV CLIA was identified eighteen days later. After twenty-three days, the HIV DNA detector had not been identified. After thirty-four days, CMIA ag/ab was nonreactive, and CMIA was negative again after forty-five days. Tridot is negative after fifty-four days and the rapid is negative after fifty-seven days. I am Elisa negative and CMIA ag/ab negative, I have a sore throat that makes chewing difficult, and I have ulcers.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The chances of later HIV tests becoming positive are practically negligible. With the supplied test results and dates, the results are almost conclusive. However, it may be preferable to have an HIV antibody test at a reputable laboratory after Ninety days of exposure to be completely and conclusively rid of fear. The symptoms are vague and may not have to be caused by HIV. It might be caused by another infection. Please see your doctor for an assessment and treatment of your problems.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor.

The HIV DNA test, also known as DNA detector, is one of the first tests, and you state that it is conclusive from which day.

Hi Thank you for the follow-up query. It is very sensitive test and is more than 95 % sensitive (conclusive) after 12 to 14 days exposure. The chances of HIV tests coming positive later is almost nil. But it is better to go for HIV antibodies test after 90 days exposure to be relieved of anxiety totally and conclusive results.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
