Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I got a question about Invisalign, and it is cheaper to get Invisalign for the top teeth. I doubt if Invisalign can be used for the upper teeth alone instead of for the upper and lower teeth.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Hope you are doing well. Yes, Invisalign only for a single arch is cheaper than both arches. It depends on your malocclusion, the reason for undergoing the treatment, the actual and optimal treatment plan, and your requirement. Once you receive the three-dimensional face visualization plan for yourself on a single arch and are satisfied with the results, you can book the Invisalign aligners. However, the cost increases if you wish both should be treated. The teeth settle better when both arches are treated, and the final occlusion is set according to the plan. This way, you know that post-Invisalign, the bite will not need any extra measures to settle, and post-treatment issues will not arise much. Hope this helps you in some manner.
