Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have itching in the penis area. Kindly advice.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Some tips that might help include:
1. Please wash the area with lukewarm water regularly.
2. Use mild soap.
3. Do not use the same towel in the pubic area that you use elsewhere on the body.
4. Maintain good hygiene down there. Remove pubic hair, and keep the area dry.
5. If you are the type who sweats a lot, then use mild antiperspirant talc over the groin area. If the climate where you live is very sultry, you may need to bathe many times daily.
6. Use a different set of clothes every day. Do not use the same clothes again.
Observe clearly if there is any change in color, foul smell, or lesions over the penis.
I hope that you get your answer.
Please let me know if you need any help.
Thank you.
