Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

For two weeks or so I observed bluish clot-like spots on my legs. The day before yesterday my BP fell to 85/60 mm of Hg and I was very giddy. I have been having pain in my legs, especially during the night. I was sweating heavily that night and still felt cold. I felt very weak. My hemogram, CT, BT, and LFT were done. RBC was slightly elevated and a slight decrease in MCH and MVH was present. I even observed a patch of red dots on my right arm which faded away by the evening. I am still feeling very weak and giddy. My BP increased to 95/70 mm of Hg.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice according to provided history.

The bluish lesion along with pain in the leg could be because of a deep vein thrombosis-like clot problem. For that, I suggest a color doppler investigation and physical examination. Your blood pressure was low. So you felt giddy. Kindly mention whether you have had a giddiness problem for a long time or it is only once this time. You might have not maintained hydration during your weakness period. So because of dehydration, RBC (red blood cell) mass can be elevated secondarily.

Thank you.
