Patient's Query

Hi,

I have a calcified granuloma in my lungs with no complications. My doctor said it was fine. But my surgeon will not proceed with a scheduled surgery without a pulmonologist clearance. Every local clinic is booked for months. Can you please help?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com. I read your query and understand your concern. May I know your symptoms? Do you have any cough, chest pain, or weight loss? Any history of tuberculosis? Please reply to my above-asked questions so I can better guide you. I wish you good health. Thanks.

Patient's Query

Hello,

I have no cough, no chest pain, no illness, or weight loss. The doctor said the lungs are clear, and there are no signs or symptoms of anything. Blood work was fine too. I never had tuberculosis ever. The doctor had me take a quanti-gold tuberculosis test. I am a fit person and very active. I barely ever get sick. I am 5 ’ 7 ” tall and weigh around 200 lbs. But I was exposed to COVID-19 last summer with no downtime or serious illness. The only health issue is hypertension, which is very well controlled with 25 mg once daily of Metoprolol Succinate for a year. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com. I understand your concern. Since you do not have any chest symptoms and no active infection, there is no need to worry at all. You are fit for surgery as far as the respiratory system is concerned. I hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. I wish you good health. Thanks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
