What shall I do for the abnormal values of my blood report?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have attached my blood test reports here. Kindly help me with it, because some of the values are not normal. Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have reviewed all the attached reports (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Few of them are slightly on the higher side, but are not deranged enough to warrant any treatment. Your cholesterol levels and homocysteine levels are on the higher side for which you should go for dietary changes like increased intake of fruits and vegetables and reduce intake of fats. Also, increase your physical activity in the form of gym, walking or yoga. Your uric acid is definitely high for which go for dietary restrictions as well as consult a doctor for physical evaluation and start medicines. The rest of the reports are not significant enough to require any interventions. Thank you and take care. Regards.
