Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My brother is 22 years old. He met with an accident a few weeks back in which a hard ball hit his head, and he had pain for a few days, after which he was fine. Yesterday, we planned to visit my aunt’s place, but he was driving the car and suddenly started forgetting the address and purpose of the visit. Why?
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
It can be due to various reasons but as you mentioned, accident. The probable cause can be trauma. So if the ball hits the head strongly, it can lead to memory loss. So if swelling and symptoms are more frequent, I suggest you do a computed tomography scan of the brain to rule out any injuries to the brain and take tablet Paracetamol 500 mg for pain. Consult your specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.
Kindly answer so I can help you accordingly.
Thank you.
