Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am reaching out in an attempt to see if any medical advice or doctors can point me in the right direction. I am a 24-year-old male, and I started having issues the past year where every time I masturbate or have a nocturnal emission. I end up developing an MRSA or Staph Infections abscess under my skin on randomized regions of my body. As of recently, it is gotten worst, and I am now experiencing issues with my lungs. I have the following symptoms daily trouble breathing, Inability to take a deep breath, and coughing up green mucus (potentially pus). I have had several trips to the ER and several chest X-rays and a CT scan done of my lungs each time they come back saying they see no visual signs of infection. The lung symptoms have been persistent and would not go away, I am having a nocturnal emission (wet dream) about every 7 to 14 days, and when I do, I instantly within that day develop worsening lung symptoms and end up developing a skin abscess that we believe are MRSA or Staph Infections, I have been bleaching and washing everything from bed sheets to prevent the spread of MRSA, I do not feel I am getting the MRSA infections from a spread they are happening every single time I have a natural emission (wet dream) or if I masturbate. I have had to take Doxycycline to treat the recurring infections about once to two a month. I am not improving at all, and I am getting worst. Some more background information about myself, I have eczema, asthma, and allergies. Some of my blood levels have been coming back with really high IgE Levels (15,772+), and eosinophil (998+). I am at a loss of what can be causing this I started seeing a lung specialist and an infectious disease specialist they both agreed something is going on. Still, they have no idea what could be causing it. The lung specialist thinks it could be asthma related, but I am 100 % sure that every time I masturbate or have an emission within that day, I start to decline and go downhill to the point where I have to go to the ER and take antibiotics monthly. I am unsure if I have some rare autoimmune thing, but something is wrong, and I need some help or advice. I have not had sex, so I do not believe it is a sexually transmitted disease as I have never had sex.

If you could advise me or point me in the right direction, any help would be appreciated, and I would be grateful.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to Icliniq.com.

I have read your query and am sorry for such a medical scenario.

Your medical query is

• You develop abscesses under your skin on randomized regions of your body after natural emission or masturbation.

• Recent symptoms include trouble breathing, Inability to take a deep breath in, and coughing up green mucus (potentially pus).

Let's proceed discussion from here.

Q) Is there any visible pus drainage from the abscess?

You are saying developing of abscess after natural emission

Q) How this could be possible in overnight time?

Q) Can you attach a picture of it?

Q) Is the present or recent symptoms also liked after natural emission?

Q) How you could say MRSA or Staphylococcus infection without any microbiological examination?

Q) Have you ever got your sputum examined for potential microbes in the laboratory?

Q) Do you take asthma medication?

Q) Do you get wheezing?

Q) Have you done PFT (pulmonary function test) to confirm or rule out asthma?

Q) What are the leading findings or suggestions from lung and infectious disease specialists?

Your WBC count is within the normal limits which reflects no infection.

I am not able to link the above medical condition which you have explained above however symptoms can be analyzed properly to reach a probable diagnosis.

Please reply to the above questions as well.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

Q) Is there any visible pus drainage from the abscess?

Answer: Yes, there is visible pus drainage; however, most of the skin abscess has been boils that pop up underneath the skin with no head to them. I have had them pop up in my armpit, top of my head, chin, arms, and legs. I say roughly 80 % of them are boiled under the skin with no head for drainage; the other 20 % are typically after the infection starts it spreads, and the spread has visual signs of drainage and head.

You are saying developing of abscess after nocturnal emission

Q) How this could be possible in overnight time?

Answer: I am not sure why they are rapidly popping up, but yes, within 24 to 48 hours of having a natural emission, a boil generally pops up somewhere on the body underneath the skin and requires oral antibiotics to remove them. It is getting to a point where the past 3 years, I have been taking antibiotics at least twice a month to treat an infection, generally done in 10 courses of Doxycycline. I have been dealing with this issue for four years with MRSA infections, and recently, since one year, the lung issues started. It is been getting worst with no signs of improvement.

Q) Can you attach a picture of it?

Answer: Sure, I will attach some pictures of the skin abscesses.

Q) Is the present or recent symptoms also liked after natural emission?

Answer: The MRSA infections on the skin started four years back and have gotten worst, they always happen right after a nocturnal emission or masturbation. The lung issues are new and recent; the lung issues started one year back and happen every time a nocturnal emission takes place. The lung has not returned to a normal state, it has been present.

Q) How you could say MRSA or Staph infection without any microbiological examination?

Answer: We have not taken a recent culture, but when I was younger, I was tested for it, and it came back as MRSA. I had MRSA infections when I was a young child. However, they were not often and were generally associated with eczema outbreaks. The recent MRSA infections, though, I am confident, are related to the emissions because it happens every single time I have an emission. It also seems the recent MRSA infections tend to be under the skin rather than above the skin; with a visual head, they have been popping up in spots that do not have eczema present, such as my chin, lip, top of my head, and armpit.

Q) Have you ever got your sputum examined for potential microbes in the laboratory?

Answer: Yes, The pulmonologist ordered a sputum culture, and I believe the laboratory report stated they found rare white blood cells. I will attach a copy of that lab report for you to review.

Q) Do you take asthma medication?

Answer: Yes, I have had asthma since I was a little child. I take a steroid inhaler, Advair HFA, and albuterol as needed. However, I can tell you these new lung symptoms do not feel like asthma at all. They feel like the lungs are being infected, I lived with asthma my whole life, and these new lung symptoms are something new and different; I am confident they are connected to the nocturnal emissions because the lung issues always start to worsen when I have an emission.

Q) Do you get wheezing?

Answer: I do not get any visual signs of wheezing.

Q) Have you done PFT (pulmonary function test) to confirm or rule out asthma?

Answer: Yes, I have done a PFT (pulmonary function test) at my allergist, and I have done a recent more improved PFT (pulmonary function test) test with the pulmonologist. He stated the recent one came back normal, and the only thing he spotted was I have asthma. Allergist stated that the same thing the PFT shows asthma is present. However, the issue is that I have had asthma since I was a small child and never really had significant asthma issues. the lung issues worsen continually after an emission.

Q) What are the leading findings or suggestions from lung and infectious disease specialists?

Answer: The lung specialist thinks it could be some type of related allergic disease, but he is uncertain. He suggested doing the new biologic medications such as FASENRA I tried doing that with no success or positive results. The infectious disease specialist suspected I might have something called Hyper IgE syndrome and told me to follow up with an allergist for further testing, The Allergist stated she did not feel I had hyper IgE syndrome and that something else would be going on. I have had asthma and allergies my whole life, and I can tell you confidently this does not feel like asthma or allergies at all. I suspect the MRSA infections are finally affecting my lungs, although I do not understand why this is happening during natural emissions.

I will attach some more notes and images of laboratory work and findings for you to review further. I am at a loss for what is going on. I know my case is unique and different from the average case; I have seen internet results of something called post-orgasmic illness syndrome (POIS) I am not sure if that could be something explaining why emissions are making my immune system function incorrectly. All the doctors and specialists are agreeing on something underlining is happening. However, none of them have been able to figure it out.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I saw the files you have attached (attachment removed for patient identity protection).

I would definitely look into your query and would take the help of my colleague to find out a possible connection between the skin manifestation and natural emission and laboratory reports which have been yielded so far.

At present I am clueless but after doing an in-depth search of your query, I will reply to you very soon.

Meantime take care of yourself.

Thank you.
