Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I missed my period this month and I did a pregnancy test and it has come positive. So I have taken the Mefigest kit for abortion. One Mifepristone medicine I have taken four days back and two Misoprostol tablets yesterday. Another two tablets of Misoprostol I took yesterday. Last night I got bleeding only for 4 to 5 hours after that bleeding stopped. So what should I do?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand all your concerns.

Mefigest kit (Mifepristone and Misoprostol) is commonly used for abortion in early pregnancy. Please let me know if you have noticed clots in the bleeding. In order to make sure that the abortion is complete, you should notice if there are clots. Then after it stops, the ultrasound should confirm that the abortion is complete and there are no intrauterine remanents.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
