Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I noticed a lesion on the back of my head. It is flat, mostly red in color, and a bit darker red or brown on the edges. It does not itch, and I do not think that it is related to any allergies. What could this be?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Please answer a few questions-

1. Since how long is it been there?

2. Does it hurt when you comb your hair?

3. Has it bled anytime?

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I do not know since when I have it, it might have been there for a long time, but I only started to feel concerned about it a week ago. No, it does not hurt when I comb my hair, it does not even hurt when I press on it. I have never seen it bleeding.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It could probably be a nevus, meaning a birth lesion. They become apparent after a certain age. They are harmless and can be left alone. You can undergo an evaluation if you develop any symptoms.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
