Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a problem with my semen leakage. I quitted masturbating around three months back. But every week, I have night-falling issues. Before, I was addicted to smoking, but I quit last month. I automatically have semen leakage even when talking to my partner. Because I am on 14-hour duty, I call her on duty-free time. And I am afraid of my semen leakage. Because after the leakage, I have back pain. I ejaculated within 30 seconds today. In the past, I was addicted to drugs. But I quitted last year. I want to live with my partner happily. But my premature ejaculation and precum are interfering with my personal life. Sometimes, the tip of my penis causes pain. Currently, I eat a protein-rich diet.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Wet dreams or nightfall is called nocturnal emission, and it is normal. It can be due to increased erotic stimulus mentally or physically, or visually without sex or masturbation. At this age, you will have good testosterone production, 20000 sperm produced every minute, which is a lot of semen production. So you need to let it out through masturbation or sex. If not, it will come out independently when you are very relaxed (sleep). As you know the cause, treatment is easy. Reduce the frequent erotic stimulus or masturbate or have sex.

Ways to reduce the frequent erotic stimulus are:

• Limit the intake of caffeinated beverages and foods after late afternoon. Consuming caffeine before bedtime can stimulate the brain and cause erotic dreams.

• Take a cold shower before bedtime. This decreases the excessive sensitivity in the genital region.

• Limit and control your stress levels. Stress can be a triggering factor to anything and everything. Hence, to obtain a peaceful night’s sleep, checking your stress levels is necessary.

• Avoid sleeping on your back or stomach. These positions are known to cause sleep orgasms. Better sleep on your side.

• Exercise regularly and keep your body and mind relaxed. Excessive tension or anxiety and body tiredness elevate your chances of sleep orgasms.

• Avoid watching and reading erotic content at night. These stimulate your body and mind and result in wet dreams while asleep. For a temporary solution, you can use tablet Pari 10 mg (Paroxetine) once a night for 15 days.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
