Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had a cut on my lip due to a dry and chapped lip. Today I had oral sex with my girl, and now I m worried if I could catch some STD. She is clean and loves me, so I could not ask about her STD status. And this is raising so many doubts in me. I feel feverish, and that is the cause of my anxiety. What should I do now?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for the query.

There is nothing to worry about if both partners are free of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). However, symptoms can be due to any infection due to contact with any person. If you are still uncertain, you can consult your doctor for examination, risk assessment, and management.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
