Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 38-year-old female. I have knee pain in both knees out of injury-induced, and earlier I had knee osteoarthritis as by the X-ray report. How do I improve?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I am sorry to hear about your injury. It is very rare to see osteoarthritis in both knees after trauma. You might be having early degenerative osteoarthritis or maybe chondromalacia patella. One thing I would like to ask if you have any other joint pain or morning stiffness? See, as per X-ray (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), it does not appear severe type. I am advising below. Kindly follow it.
Thanks and regards.

Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thanks for the reply.
The pain is mostly on the left side of the right knee and the right side of the left knee. Sometimes it is on the kneecap also. The X-ray says median joint space reduction. I had this pain after doing squatting for some days during the first lockdown phase. Then it subsided and has again recurred during December, January. I never had such pain before. No, there is no other joint pain or morning stiffness. My blood test for rheumatoid arthritis shows normal. Uric acid all are normal in the blood test. Only vitamin D is 17.
Do I need to do any MRI etc.?
Will it get cured?
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I am glad that you replied back. As your blood reports are normal, you do not seem to have inflammatory arthritis. Yes, it will get cured. Just follow that advice and keep doing exercises regularly as it will help the most. I do not think MRI will help much.
Keep it up.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
I have noticed inflammation and consistent pain in the knees. I have attached the pictures. At times, there is no pain in the first half but pain in the second half. I have observed that quadricep exercise helps me to relieve pain. I was having a muscular spasm in the body initially, in the pelvic muscle, and spine muscle but now, it is relieved. I was advised to take HCQS 200 tablet and am very confused and helpless. Kindly help.
Thank you.

Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
The picture was taken after applying an herbal pain relief oil as it was paining and will attach the pictures again. I have had an ESR of 44 since last year when there was no physical issue. I have been otherwise a very fit person throughout my life with no major ailments till now. My ESR for the last year remained high without any physical symptoms, suddenly it was getting high with all other blood test parameters being normal. I have not done CRP, and my thyroid is normal, rheumatism is negative only, and vitamin D is. Kindly help.
Thank you.

Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
I have attached my blood test reports. I was taking supplements of vitamin D and calcium every day and have stopped that now. My knee pain is often fluctuating, and it feels good with quadriceps exercise. Sometimes, I get needle-like muscle pain in the upper back muscle beside my spine and in the pelvic region, especially after sitting for a long time on any relatively hard surface. My pelvic bone has become more sensitive to the hard surface, and it pains. Do you think I need to take HCQS 200? Kindly suggest.
Thank you.
