Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am suffering from irregular periods for eight years. I am unmarried. I am 26-years-old, and my weight is 92 pounds. I have been diagnosed with PCOD and I have been taking medication for many years. I have started with Krimson tablet for a few years. After leaving it I did not get my period again and I was suggested to Meprate every three to four months to get my period. I consulted another doctor because I was facing several other problems like intense hair fall, darkening of hair on my face and body along with acne. A new gynecologist gave me some progesterone tablets for five days after eating and I got my period just for one day that too just a few spots again in the second meeting she gave Gestofit-SR for 14 days. After taking that also I did not get periods. When I met that gynecologist with this issue, she asked me to take Gestofit-SR for another 14 days. I do not know what to do. I am tired of changing doctors, scanning, and tests. Please help me so that I get the proper medication. Please suggest any alternative way or any home remedy which would solve this PCOD and irregular period. I am tired of this health issue.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

First of all, you have to be consistent with one gynecologist.

    1. Start with proper diet, exercise, and yoga.
    2. Take plenty of fluids, vegetables, and fruits.
    3. Also, get a complete blood count done to know if you have a low blood count.
    4. Just stop being dependent on medications.
    5. Try to get lifestyle modification and see how it works.
      • Thank you for consulting me.

You can always come back and reach me.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
