Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I noticed hair-like or cilia-like growth around my glans penis. I do not have pain or irritation, but they have been there a long. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I saw your clinical picture (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), but it is a little blurry. They can be due to the following reasons. The reasons are pearly penile papules, viral warts or contagious viral infection, Molluscum or contagious viral infection. Are you sexually active? Have you ever had unprotected intercourse? Do you have similar bumps anywhere else in the body? A wart will have a rough surface and multiple finger-like projections, where as pearly penile papules are smooth. Please answer the following questions.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
