Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I was on Escitalopram for the past 14 years till date and with Lorel also before five years back but later the psychiatrist stopped. Now, I am only on Nexito 0.5 mg daily for three days and once Nexito plus on the fourth day. I have an erectile dysfunction for which I am consuming homeopathic medicines and this has helped me a lot. But, now also I am not able to ejaculate inside her vagina. I feel like removing out the penis. Please help me out.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Taking Escitalopram or Lorazepam without a regular supervision of a psychiatrist for long periods of time is not advisable. This affects the health badly. Nexito is Escitalopram only and this could be the reason for your poor orgasm or delayed ejaculation. If your libido has reduced and you are not able to ejaculate then there is a need for re-evaluation. Drugs like Bupropion can be added to the prescription which will help in remission of symptoms and this will not affect the sexual life too. Instead of Lorazepam, drugs like Clonazepam or Etizolam can be used. Visit a doctor for evaluation.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
