Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a habit of masturbation and watching porn for many years. I try my best to avoid it. I have been masturbating for almost 10 years. My penile size is small. But when I get close to my partner, and become excited, a clear, water-like liquid is discharged from my penis. It gets discharged without any force - just from the excitement. A similar thing happens when I see porn. Sometimes, even when I am not excited, (like normally talking to her intimately), I discharge. Sometimes when I am sad or very emotional while talking to her, I discharge. After the discharge, my penis becomes weaker. Once we planned for sexual intercourse. We were ready and my penis was erect. I was a little bit nervous. But when I was about to insert, it became flaccid again. I could not have proper sex. After that, I feel shy to have sex and have never tried again. I would like to know what my problem is. Is there any solution?

Thank you.

Hi,

What you felt is called Pre-cum, Pre-Ejaculatory Fluid (PEF). It is a normal secretion that comes before you ejaculate so sperm can travel smoothly and get out of the penis. You can control the episodes of PEF by controlling your erotism.

Masturbation is normal, ninety-five percentage men do that. it is just another way of having sex, without a partner. It is a good practice, as it helps to calm your mind and release happy and stress-bursting enzymes. It will not harm the penis. Masturbating twice or thrice a week is not an issue. However, more than that can cause tiredness, loss of concentration, and a sense of infertility. I suggest some methods to control Erotic feelings or masturbation;

1. Sex education.

2. Physical exercises.

3. Sleep adjustment.

4. Quality of sleep.

5. Healthy and balanced diet.

6. Plan your leisure time.

7. Development of spirituality.

8. Taking a cold bath.

For tiredness or a decrease in strength, I suggest you the following medicines - Cap. Astymin forte (nutrient supplement) once a day in the morning and Tab. Shelcal (Calcium and vitamin D3) once a night after food for thirty days. Consult your physician and take medicines accordingly.

Thank you.

I hope I have answered your query. If you have further doubts, please feel free to revert.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
