Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a regular 30-days cycle of periods. Last month on 10th, my menses started. On 11th, I had sex and he ejaculated inside me. Yesterday was my actual next period, but it did not come yet. Shall I wait for the period or take a pregnancy test?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Wait for three more days. In case, it does not start, then do a pregnancy test.

I hope you found this useful. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Is there any possibility to get pregnant if I had sex during periods, even if I had a regular 30-days cycle?

Answered by Dr. Garima Sawhney

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

There is 99 % no chance of pregnancy in case you had unprotected intercourse during your period cycle as it is considered to be the safe period. But, 1 % chance is there. So, that is the reason I told you to do the pregnancy test in case you do not start with your periods. The second reason for the same could be stressor some hormonal changes. We will look for that later if you do not start your cycles.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
