What could be the reason for my abnormal ultrasound during 6th-week pregnancy scan?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 7 weeks pregnant and have brown spotting with little pain. The previous ultrasound showed a normal fetus but 6 week ultrasound did not show any pregnancy.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I have gone through your history and report and understand your concerns. As your ultrasound shows it is 6 weeks pregnancy, it could be a late conception and you are 6 weeks pregnant and not 7 weeks pregnancy. I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below.

  1. Get your blood beta hCG level monitoring.
  2. Take a folic acid tablet and progesterone to support pregnancy.

Are you bleeding? Or having pain?

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
