Have some healthy precautions and tips and try again with hope. I would suggest the following:

1. Have healthy diet, daily exercise and yoga to have balanced BMI (body mass index).
2. Include recreational activities like swiming ,painting , planting as couple. Also avoid use of drugs if you were using. As these drugs reduces the fertility and can cause congenital defects or syndromes in developing fetus.
3. If you or your partner have been treated for any disease better to have full check and complete treatment.
4. If you have regular cycle try to have sex in fertile period of cycle. If the cycle is of 28, the fertile period is from day 8 to 13.
5. In case of irregular or prolonged cycles, have sex from day 8 to 19 on alternate days.
6. In case of irregular cycles, you might need to regulate by taking oral contraceptives for three months.
7. Have folic acid daily 0.4 mg regularly as it helps in conception and reduces chances of miscarriage.
