Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

If I talk more than I usually do (like for an hour), I am experiencing a weird sore throat for nearly three years. I am not screaming, but sometimes I do talk a bit fast.

Please help me, doctor.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It is usual for a person to talk for hours without stressing their vocal cords. However, if there is stress or tightening of vocal cords while making an unusual sound, discomfort in the throat region might happen, but in your case, you feel a weird sore throat for about an hour talk.

1) Does it often happen or after some upper respiratory tract infection?

2) Do you have any tonsillar swelling?

Local oral examination, including throat, would be necessary to diagnose any pathology or cause of the above symptoms.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
