Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have a height of 5.4 feet and a weight of 169 lbs. I have nausea, insomnia, fatigue, dizziness, leg cramps with back pain for a week. Today is my period day. I had spotting and cramps one or two times. I faced a sharp pain in the left lower abdomen. I had unprotected sex. I have thyroid and taking synthetic thyroid 75 mcg. What is the reason?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern. You are having nausea, insomnia, fatigue, dizziness, leg cramps, back pain, lower abdominal pain for a week with spotting. You have hypothyroidism also. You can have these symptoms due to ectopic pregnancy, normal uterine pregnancy, primary dysmenorrhea, and hormonal imbalance due to hypothyroidism. You can do a serum pregnancy test and an ultrasound scan of the abdomen to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. It is an emergency condition and it has to be ruled out soon. Have an urgent review soon.
