Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been suffering from stye on my left eye for the last two days. And it is very painful. What to do? Please give your suggestions.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern. I suggest you to follow the instructions. Take a tablet of Amoxiclav (Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid) 625 mg three times a day for the next three days after meals (please ensure that you do not have any history of allergies to any medicines). Take a tablet of Diclofenac (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) and Serratiopeptidase (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug). Take it twice a day for two days after meals. Take a tablet of Omeprazole (antacid) 40 mg before breakfast for three days. Use Vigamox (Moxifloxacin) eye drops six times daily for five days. Use Polymyxin (antibiotic) and Chloramphenicol (antibiotic) eye ointment. Apply it during bedtime for five days. Kindly consult a physician, talk with them and take the medications with their consent. Also, do not squeeze or pinch the stye. In addition, I suggest you to do hot fomentation twice daily for the next two days. And you will be fine in three days. I hope this has helped you. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
