Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 30-year-old woman. I was diagnosed with SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus) when I was 20. Lately, I have been having a tough time sleeping, feeling constantly down, and experiencing never-ending tiredness along with joint pains. It is been really hard and stressful. I am desperate for guidance and curious if there is any cure for these lupus symptoms that are making me feel exhausted and emotionally drained. I just want to feel better and regain my energy. Any advice or help you can offer would mean a lot.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for writing, and I understand your concern. Actually, systemic lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease, and due to that, it can be very difficult to completely treat. Therefore, symptomatic treatment is given to control the symptoms. As you mentioned that you are experiencing joint pain and weakness, I would suggest taking tablet Etoricoxib 90mg twice a day after a meal, a multivitamin tablet before sleeping, and tablet Levocetirizine 5 mg one tablet before sleeping. Take these medications for five days. Can you please tell me since when you have had SLE? Also, what medications are you currently taking?

Please let me know. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
