Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Three days ago, I got hit on my testicle accidentally. My dog hit me again on the same testicle, and I was in pain for ten minutes. It got bruised the next day. Today after urination, I noticed a small drop of blood from my penis. Should I be worried?

Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern and will surely help you out. A physical examination and ultrasound scan are essential because you had an injury on the testicle. Also, a drop of blood in the urine can be due to a testicular injury or an injury to nearby structures. If the injury is low-grade, then conservative treatment like rest, pain killers, and anti-inflammatory medications would suffice.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
