Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 19-year-old male. I have two queries,

1. I think my foreskin is a little bit tighter than others. I can pull it back, but still, it is a little tight than normal. So, are there any chances it may loosen naturally or any methods to loosen it? I do not want to have a circumcision.

2. As my penis head was covered by foreskin most of the time, it is so sensitive if I pull back the foreskin and try touching it. What should I do to reduce that sensitivity?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Following is my opinion on your question.

If you cannot easily retract the foreskin over the glans, then phimosis could be possible. I suggest you visit a nearby dermatologist or surgeon for an examination of the penis, and then steroid cream can be prescribed, which helps loosen the tight foreskin. However, if the condition does not improve with steroids, then circumcision is the only option for management. The sensitivity of glans reduces after a few sexual intercourses.

I hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Best regards.
