Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a shiny and white color bump on my penis. I had used Clotrimazole cream. But it is not getting better, and now it is itching. What can I do? Please help. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Please answer the following questions to help you better. Are you diabetic? Do you have the same bump elsewhere in your body? Is it itching? Do you have pain or a burning sensation? Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the response. I am not diabetic, but my uric acid level is 7 mg/dL. I use medication for the same. I had marks near my armpits, and the doctor suggested Terbiderm cream. I try to avoid any rubbing. I used Hydrozole cream, and it became better, but once I stopped, it started itching again. I used cream once or twice a day. Please advise. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is a Superficial fungal infection (Tinea infection). I suggest Micogel cream (Miconazole) during the daytime for three weeks. Apply Luliconazole cream at night for three weeks and Tablet Levocetirizine 5 mg at night after food for seven days. Keep sugar levels under control. Avoid scratching and rubbing of lesions as it causes secondary bacterial infection and spread of Fungal infection. Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid moisture, heat, and friction. Maintain proper genital hygiene. Wash the genital area daily with an Episoft cleanser. Wear loose, comfortable thin cotton inners. Avoid activities that cause sweating. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Any alternative for Luliconazole cream? Please advise.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You can use Clotrimazole cream as well. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have started using Clotrimazole during the day and Fucidin antibiotic ointment at night. This gives a very slight burning sensation. Both tests are done, and reports are attached.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is a fungal infection (Balanitis). Reports are normal from the attachments (attachmentsremoved to protect the patient's privacy). I suggest the following. Apply Fucidin (Fusidic Acid) cream in the daytime. Apply Clotrimazole cream at night. I hope this helps. Thank you.
