Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had my last period around two months ago, and then I had unprotected intercourse one and a half months back. I took Unwanted-72 within three hours of intercourse. After seven days of taking Unwanted-72, I had very light bleeding. Almost one month later, I have not got periods till now. I had taken UPT twice, once in the last week of the previous month and in the first week of this month, and both were negative.

Is there anything to worry about? Can there be pregnancy?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns. Menstrual irregularities, in your case, could be due to hormonal imbalance caused by an i-Pill (Levonorgestrel). As you took i-Pill on time, there is almost no chance of pregnancy in your case. So wait and watch for your menses; get your home urine pregnancy test after seven days of your missed period date.

Hope found this useful; feel free to ask for more information.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

There is almost no chance of pregnancy in your case because you took i-Pill (Levonorgestrel) on time. Your period may get delayed in your case. Regards.
