Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have mild vaginal bleeding between my periods. For example, I had sexual intercourse two days back, and the next morning, I had mild bleeding with no pain or irritation. Sometimes I also have white vaginal discharge for no reason between my periods.

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

Is it the first episode or earlier also you had this bleeding problem?

The reasons for your condition might be some infection, any uterine or cervical pathology, or some hormonal imbalance. Suppose this has occurred for the first time. In that case, it is better to wait and watch. You can take a tablet of Tranexamic acid 500 mg thrice daily for three days to stop the bleeding and a tablet of Fluconazole 150 mg single dose to treat the fungal infection as you have white discharge as well. Consult your specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their consent. If this bleeding is not controlled or reoccurs, we might need some other medicine and antibiotic to treat it and also some blood tests and ultrasound to know the cause.

I hope I was helpful to you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
