Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I got vaginal burning, itching, and dryness with little or very less cottage cheese-like discharge with no foul smell or difficulty in urination. At first, it got very dry and itchy, so I used Candid-B ointment. After taking the AF kit, I got a thick white discharge. After three days, I took Fluconazole 150 mg again, and then after three days, I used a Clingen Forte vaginal capsule every night. So far, I have used two capsules. I am also taking Itraconazole 200 mg OD for three days. I want to know whether I need to take Doxycycline 100 mg. If yes, then for how many days, or if Itraconazole 200 mg, then for how many days? I see improvement in infection, and the itching has subsided.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

It seems to be due to some mixed infection there.

I suggest,

  • Clean the vagina with vaginal wash regularly.
  • Continue Clingen (Clindamycin, Clotrimazole, and Tinidazole) vaginal capsules once daily for three days.
  • Capsule Itraconazole 200 mg one per day.
  • Capsule Doxt SL (Doxycycline and lactic acid bacillus) one twice a day on the first day and one per day from the second day onwards.
  • Tablet Metrogyl ER (Metronidazole) one tablet twice a day.

All for seven days. Follow-up after seven days. We suggest some natural remedies to clear it entirely after seven days.

I hope you find it helpful.

Kind regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have itching in the anus after taking Doxycycline 100 mg with probiotics and Metronidazole and Itraconazole, and no constipation. I used Hydrocortisone 1 %, and I got some relief.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

No rashes or worms in stools or ringworm. I have itching. Today itching has reduced as I used Sucral Ano cream at night. Sometimes I face constipation.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It seems to be due to internal piles.

I suggest,

  • Tablet Amroid (polyherbomineral formulation) or tablet Pilex (Lajjalu and Yashad Bhasma) one tablet three times a day for three weeks.
  • Can continue Sucral Ano cream (Lidocaine, Metronidazole, and Sucralfate) for a few weeks.
  • Take milk plus cow ghee regularly at night for a few weeks to avoid constipation.

I hope you find it helpful.

Kind regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Do I need to take the tablet Pilex after or before food three times a day?

And a sitz bath is required?

I have stopped taking Doxycycline and Metronidazole and have only taking Itraconazole for three days.

Hi doctor,

I am fine now, as all vaginal symptoms are gone.

Just worried about piles. It is not that serious, but I want to treat it.

Applying Sucral Ano cream.

Do I need to take any antibiotics with Pilex?
