Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 47-year-old female. I have been experiencing concerning symptoms for the past three months, and I am unsure of what could be causing them. I have been feeling constantly fatigued, despite getting enough rest. I have an unquenchable thirst, and no matter how much water I drink, I still feel dehydrated. I have also been urinating more frequently, especially during the night. Additionally, I have experienced significant weight gain and have been struggling to maintain a healthy weight. Are there specific tests or screenings that can help diagnose this condition? What treatment options or lifestyle changes can I consider to manage or resolve these symptoms effectively?

Thank you.

HI,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Actually, these symptoms indicate that you might have vitamin and hormone deficiencies. And yes definitely this condition is treatable so do not worry.

I will suggest you a few tests. Revert with the reports, I will check and suggest the treatment options available.

  1. Do you have irregular periods?

  2. Did you gain weight recently?

  3. Have you ever been diagnosed with thyroid disease?

Kindly answer the questions so that I can guide you better.

Thank you.
